Thanks for the extra help the day Ali and I were out sick Maddy! Such a team player.
This was so inspiring to read, Rachel! Thank you for sharing your insightful realizations with us :)
this was so enlightening to read, and really well done. this is a post I would love to share with my friends and family when I am home to sum up the lessons I have learned here in Medellin. I love your style of writing Ella, and how well you convey the message. grateful for your insight <3
Ella this was engaging and funny and I really appreciate your perspective on how important patience is when having communication struggles. Even as someone who has been learning Spanish my entire life, I have found myself getting frustrated at the lack of understanding I still have. However, I've learned that it is really important to laugh at the mistakes, like when you receive a seafood coconut crepe instead of a dessert coconut crepe. Although these minor details trip up our everyday lives, they provide a great opportunity for us to learn :) thanks for sharing!
Maddy I love how vivid your description of Medellin is. Truly a beautiful place that we are so lucky to be living in for these 6 weeks :)
Lia! This was so well done! I loved how you related the Spanish words to our experiences here in Medellin. I am glad we have created confianza across our group ;)
