This summer, with the guidance of Dr. Michael Chin, I will investigate how TAFAZZIN, a protein engineered to contain a cell-penetrating peptide, could potentially mitigate the cardiotoxicity associated with doxorubicin, one of the most effective chemotherapy drugs on the market.
