What went well?

I spoke to a retired attorney in my office about strategic litigation practices for legal aid.

What could have been done differently?

I could’ve come into work earlier this week. It’s tough when everyone is in the office to get independent projects done as it becomes easier to get distracted.

What did I learn about myself while working with others?

I really like working with people, which can largely be an asset, but makes it difficult to work independently.

What did I learn about leadership?

Sometimes a leader is responsible for seeing a broader picture and developing a strategy for next steps without knowing every detail.

What do I want to focus on or develop next?

I want to spend more time thinking about how Legal Aid develops strategy.
