This week I ended my time at Jagriti Sewa Trust, India.

What went well: The kids really enjoyed the creative aspects (drawing, painting, etc.) of making posters!

What could have been done differently: Some kids had a hard time picking a topic or summarizing the lessons they liked best, so I could have made a list of topics to choose from.

What did I learn about myself when working with others:  I was surprised by how patient I could be when working with children.

What did I learn about leadership:  At the end of my time at JST, I learned that guiding children is much different (and much more difficult) than guiding adults. They require more time, patience, and empathy.

What do I want to focus on developing next: A way to translate the skills I learned at JST to Community of Hope in D.C.
