Impacts of flooding on health
Reading different research papers on the aspects of health that impact people in Bangladesh is letting me learn and explore more factors that I had not thought of.

While there is minimal research on the phychological impacts of children and adults who lost a lot during the floods, the research done into the 1988, 1998, and 2004 floods shows that there is a keen interest in the topic of flood management and impacts. It is also encouraging to know that further research would be beneficial since there is a clear gap in the literature.
The topic of mothers and prenatal/postnatal care is also an interesting topic that I had not thought of before. I think it is a good indicator of the effects and the access people in the local area have to medical facilities as well as culturals stigmas associated with certain aspects of hygiene.
