This project explores how tabletop role-playing games can serve as powerful tools for social connection and self-expression among neurodiverse young people. The research aims to provide inclusive environments, while challenging neurotypical assumptions about imagination, identity, and interaction.
Initial Research Proposal: Characterizing the Relationship Between Affect Labeling and Psychopathology
This summer, I will explore the relationship between affect labeling (putting feelings into words), as assessed by a comprehensive task, with depression, anxiety, stress, alexithymia, and social phobia symptoms, with the long-term goal of improving treatment outcomes for psychological conditions.

Project outline: CAR-ATM to combat obesity
My project will investigate how chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) therapy can be translated to use in adipose tissue macrophages to combat obesity. It will be carried out at the Blood Engineering Lab at the Centre for Translational Stem Cell Biology under the supervision of Dr Rio Sugimura.
