I study Natural Sciences (Biochemistry and Nutrition) at the University of Leeds. My research project is dedicated to investigating the organisation of heart muscle cells in a condition called Dilated Cardiomyopathy. As a result of my research, I want to identify novel treatment methods for this condition.
Studying International Sustainability and Environmental Management. My 1st year research project was “The pedestrian environment and new mobility services: mixed messages?”, one that I chose due to a passion for social justice and the exploration of it within varying contexts. COVID-19 caused this project to be heavily redesigned, with research objectives shifting to how the pedestrian space was used during the intial pandemic, and future idealistic spaces.

I am Laidlaw scholar and undergraduate student at the University of Leeds studying towards a LLB. My research aims to greater understand the public's perceptions towards rehabilitation and reintegration of terrorists into society through literature reviews and studying data from public surveys. The wider implications of this research will hopefully mean that public policy is influenced in ways to be more receptive to the public's needs and that society will become more educated in this area.
Outside of my studies I really enjoy reading, travelling, cooking, listening to music and spending quality time with my friends and family.
Ancient History and Philosophy Undergraduate at the University of Leeds. My research project is on the impact that the UK's membership of the EU has had on British foreign policy and diplomacy. As someone who will most likely pursue a Masters and a career in international relations and security, I am interested in understanding the international relationship that has most affected British diplomacy to a depth that could inform future foreign policy decisions. Please do get in touch if you have research interests similar to my own, specifically in the areas of IR and security because it would be great to exchange ideas! -- When I'm not working I like to head down to one of my favourite live music venues, usually a jazz bar, to blow off some steam with friends. I also like to watch Sunday rugby and am passionate about all kinds of music. Add me on Linkedin!
