About Hayley Marsden
I am a graduate of the University of York passionate about supporting learners with additional needs. I have experience working within a special education setting, supporting children with profound and complex needs as a TA and Assistant Educational Psychologist within a local authority. I am now training as an Educational Psychologist, completing my doctorate course with the University of Newcastle, UK. During my time as an undergraduate I studied the risk and protective factors of social and cognitive resilience in children with reading difficulties. I am currently working on this paper. As a graduate I was involved in the ParentChild+ project assessing the impact of a literature and play intervention for children who do not access nursery or pre-school facilities.
