About Kate Pangbourne
I research the use of persuasive messages for voluntary travel behaviour change, collaborative processes and structures in transport governance, smart mobility and socio-technical change. I'm motivated by the climate and environmental crises caused by human excess and the search for social justice. I have a PhD in human geography, a Masters in Sustainable Rural Development, an MA in Philosophy with English Literature, and a decade of academic research experience, and a decade of experience working in the public sector (nature conservation). As well as conducting and managing research I teach undergraduate geographers, Masters students and PhD students.
