It is hard to believe that six weeks ago, we started this journey with so much anticipation. Now, as I look back on the final week of the program, I realize how much has changed — not just in the students, but in all of us who have walked alongside them. If I had to choose one phrase to describe this week, it would be "the hectic rush to the finish line."

If I thought earlier weeks were busy, week six proved that things could get even more intense. Even on our very last day, we were racing against the clock, still troubleshooting and running 3D prints until the very last minute before the exhibition. The pressure was high, but so was the energy; our workspace buzzed with urgency and hope. I saw students nervously checking their prototypes, instructors lending last-minute help, and everyone pulling together for one final push.

The exhibition itself was nothing short of magical. Over the last two days, I witnessed an outpouring of support and collaboration. Faces I had not seen before showed up early to help with the setup and displays — a testament to the sense of community we built. Visitors from all backgrounds, including families and friends, filled the room with encouragement and pride.

What struck me most was how the students transformed. For some, excitement bubbled over; for others, a cool, almost nonchalant demeanor took over (though I suspect beneath that teenage exterior, they were just as proud and thrilled). The pride in their eyes was undeniable as they explained their projects to guests, fielded questions, and showed off what they had accomplished. Colleagues, too, stepped up, eager to support and make sure everything ran smoothly. The whole room was alive with a sense of achievement and celebration.

Arriving at 8 a.m. on exhibition day, after countless early mornings and hour-long commutes, I found myself reflecting on the journey. All the long days, the problem-solving, the setbacks, and the small victories suddenly felt so worth it. The genuine smiles on the students’ faces, their confidence as they shared their work, and the connections we made — these are the moments I will never forget. It is bittersweet to say goodbye, knowing how far we have all come and how much these bonds mean.

This program has been a turning point for me as a leader. I have learned that leadership is not just about giving directions or solving technical problems; it is about supporting others through uncertainty, listening deeply, and making space for everyone to shine. There were times when I had to step back and let students or colleagues take the lead, and times when I needed to offer encouragement or simply be present.

Through the ups and downs, I have come to appreciate the importance of ethical leadership — leading with integrity, respect, and empathy. I have seen how small, everyday choices set the tone for a group’s culture: being fair, honest, and transparent, especially when things do not go as planned. Upholding these values helped create a safe and supportive environment where everyone could take risks, learn from mistakes, and grow.

The program also deepened my understanding of global citizenship. Working with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, I was continually reminded of the importance of inclusivity, open-mindedness, and cultural awareness. I learned to see challenges from different perspectives and to value collaboration across boundaries. It is clear to me now that global citizenship is not a lofty ideal — it is built through everyday actions: listening, learning, and standing up for fairness and respect in every setting.

As this chapter closes, I am filled with gratitude — for the students’ resilience and creativity, for the support of my colleagues, and for the many lessons I have learned along the way. Leaving is hard, but I know we are all carrying something valuable forward, whether it is new skills, friendships, or simply the confidence that comes from overcoming challenges together.

Week six was not just the end; it was a celebration of everything we have built and become. I am proud of what we achieved and even prouder of the community we created. Thank you to everyone who made this experience unforgettable.
