I'm proud to show you all my research poster, which succinctly shows you the work I've done over six weeks this summer. For a more detailed dive, check out my research essay! I'm also happy to answer any questions either via the Network or at or37@st-andrews.ac.uk.

Making a research poster is quite a challenge, as I discovered when I opened the template and realised how large an A0 piece of paper is. Balancing the content for readability and saying what you really want to say is a tricky thing to do, as well as making sure to communicate with figures and adding pictures.

The extra challenge is in making sure it's understandable to those outside your field, a key aim for me in this scholarship. Accessibility to scientific information in terms of access to papers is improving with open access journals, but often the language remains obscure and archaic, hindering non-specialists' understanding. That's where posters come in to bridge the gap, and it's especially useful if the maker of said poster is there to explain it, as things often are at conferences.

I'm here (albeit in virtual form) to answer any of your questions, so please do reach out!
