Killing the Spirit of a Nation: Necropolitics, Residential Schools and the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation in Canada

My finished research essay! So grateful to my supervisor Henrice Altink for all her support and feedback, and the York Laidlaw team!

I hope to continue my research next year and analyse the doctrine of discovery and what necropolitical polices emerged from the civilised-savage binary framework it utilises.

I found your report to be immensely emotive Grace, as well as informative with a strong sense of deep research on a subject that, I personally had little to no knowledge about. I briefly recall, however,  reading about the Mohawk Institute in Ontario. Looking forward to hearing more about your research next year!  Once again, well done (I enjoyed reading it a second and third time too!)
