When selecting images I undertook an ethical approach in that I used photos that researchers and journalists affiliated with the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc first nation in order to avoid further exploitation of survivors and victims. Furthermore, I severely cut sections and details, prioritising the overall treatment of the students at Kamloops Indigenous Residential School and an overview of necropolitics.
Killing The Spirit Of A Nation Poster
Attached is the poster for my project which aims to condense my essay into a more visual form. Included are sections on the treatment at the school, origins, Indigenous education and family structure and a summary of necropolitics to ensure the most important aspects of research are communicated.
