Summer 1 Research Poster
In this study, we engage in a critical evaluation of India's layered strategies for establishing dominion over Jammu and Kashmir, with a specific focus on development initiatives and governance structures while shifting the analytical lens from a state-centric paradigm to a human-centric narrative..
This research examines the dual phenomena of development projects serving as facades for hegemonic ambitions and the contemporary employment of tactics echoing India's colonial history. Additionally, the research employs rigorous qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews and detailed document analysis of pivotal legal shifts like the abrogation of Article 370. Adhering to stringent ethical standards, such as ensuring participant anonymity, the study aims to yield a nuanced, multi-dimensional understanding that has significant implications not only for scholarly discourse but also for future policy formulation and diplomatic engagements.

Intriguing analysis, Aleena! The juxtaposition of India's strategic objectives with the often-overlooked human narratives of Jammu and Kashmir offers a fresh perspective--and the focus on how development projects can be used as tools of control is particularly enlightening. Kudos!
