Project Outline: Investigating Gaps in the TB Care Cascade
This summer, as part of my Laidlaw Research Project, I will be joining Dr. Ram, Pragya Dhar, and Barbie Patel on their investigation to understand the factors behind why people with tuberculosis in India have negative treatment outcomes.
Characterizing Post-Diagnosis Gaps Along the TB Care Cascade
This summer, I had the opportunity to listen to interviews of patients with TB in India who were unable to start or finish their treatment to better understand structural barriers to care. Though not all the data has been analyzed, some patterns have begun to emerge. Reach out with questions!
