About Poline Sidiropoulu
Hi! I’m Poline, an engineering undergrad at the University of Cambridge. I am passionate about semiconductors and turning cars into sun-powered wonders. To do this, I’m exploring flexible perovskite solar cells that get attached to the curves of car roofs—think solar panels that bend instead of break! By tweaking their chemistry, we keep them efficient even when bent 🚗🌞

From Blueprint to Leadership: Creating and Teaching a VR Escape Maze in Boston
For my Leadership in Action project, I partnered with the Timothy Smith Network in Boston to design and teach a VR Escape Maze course in Unreal Engine 5, empowering high school students to become creators while growing my own adaptability and leadership.
Global Citizenship and Ethical Leadership
The Laidlaw Scholarship gave me more than research experience—it reshaped how I think about leadership and responsibility. From perovskites to Boston classrooms, I learned to make transparent decisions, stay accountable to my team, and focus on outcomes that create impact beyond myself.
