'Nili bwino' as Zambian's say.  It means 'I am fine'. Yes I am really fine.

During this particular week I was still rethinking about the great pleasure that I had to inaugurate classrooms, new facilities for the school during the previous week. And also my role in the school in general. Unbelievable.. This was possible through investing time and money from my stipend. I would have not done it any differently.

I have been truly realising that this experience is, once upon a life time. So, I have to take every emotions, feelings and impressions with me.

My routine since being here, has been completely disrupted: starting from, what I eat (''nshema'' most of the days..), and my usual comforts. I feel in peace to a certain extent, since that's what I wanted. It's just the first impression which is not the easiest to get used to. I have been getting used to living without electricity 24/7 and accustomed myself to a new diet.

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Teaching, teaching and teaching.. lots of patience to keep up with the excitement and curiosity of the pupils. 

- I had the greatest honour to receive an official invitation from the Italian Embassy in Lusaka, to celebrate ''Festa della Repubblica'' with other co-nationals and ambassador from all over the world.

- Visited the ''Lusaka national Park'' in a safari. Seeing Rhinos, Elephants for the first time in my life!!

- Ate rice on the street of Lusaka , while walking on the road with congestion.

CHALLENGES:

- Feeling the difficulty to live with no electricity. A bit in discomfort due to this.

- Giving myself time to accept that I will be fine and SAFE, in Zambia.
