Welcome New STEM Scholars!

Hi everyone! Congratulations and I wish you all the best! May you enjoy your time as Laidlaw scholars. I am Inkindi M Sabine, the subject lead for STEM and I want to take this time to let you know about the activities present in the STEM room.

Like Comment

STEM community has a room on Laidlaw Scholars Network, and consider clicking on Watching so as to be notified whenever someone posts something there.

We also have a WhatsApp group where we discuss most of our activities and the upcoming events. If you are interested in joining us, please DM so that I may add you.

Networking sessions

We have networking sessions in each month. During that session, we discuss and conclude on the topic that has been in the room. We also get to share about our research and leadership journeys.

Discussion posts

As written above, we also have discussion posts posted in the room by any of us. This post gives us knowledge about a certain topic in STEM and we are all open to share our thoughts on it just by commenting.

We are all encouraged to participate both in our WhatsApp group and on the Scholars Network in the room. This is very easy as it requires us to read, like and comment on what our fellow scholars posted and it is helpful as it lets us know what interests you. Please be open and share with us your ideas. All ideas are welcome!

Thank you and you are welcome!

If you have any questions, please let me know!

STEM Subject Lead, University of Rwanda

I am an engineering student at the University of Rwanda. I am doing Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. My project is about bringing a system that could help in minimizing the number of high-school and primary students who bring cell phones at school, since it's one of major sources of distraction.
