What went well?

In this final week, I brought together everything and mapped out the next phase of the initiative. I sent follow-ups to every site that had expressed interest, reconnected them with Inmar for onboarding, and made sure all communication threads were documented. I also began developing a grant proposal template and created a prospect list of donors and funders.

What could have been done differently?

While I made significant progress on infrastructure, I didn’t get as far in confirming new donors as I had hoped. I also felt that some relationships especially with youth orgs still hadn’t reached the level of connection I wanted.

What did I learn about myself when working with others?

I took responsibility not just for what had been done, but for ensuring continuity. This initiative is not ending, it is entering a new phase, and I took care to reflect that in how I communicated with partners.

What did I learn about leadership?

Leadership is about endings and beginnings. I realized that wrapping something up well is itself a form of leadership as one that ensures others can carry the torch if needed.

What do I want to develop or focus on next?

I want to finalize a small grant application and officially connect my confirmed sites to Inmar’s program launch timeline. I also want to build new relationships with funders and youth organizations ahead of the school year.
