I have very much enjoyed the last 2 weeks of the scholarship, having spent a lot more time with my group planning out our project. I like the way people have stepped up to take on different responsibilities, and I feel very lucky to be in such a proactive and helpful team. The conference on Character Education we attended in Warwick last week was a fun adventure to further educate us, but more importantly to improve our connections as friends and as teammates. Especially having deep conversations about life and spirituality was really freeing and I felt very heard and understood in sharing my opinions. I am not used to so much open kindness, and genuine compliments and appreciation of conversation and I think I have learnt to do that and many other skills with my time with friends in my team.

I am nervous about not getting any or enough responses for our surveys, as no schools have got back to us about our initial email yet, which is very frustrating, and may mean we need to alter our research methods. This would be a great shame, as we spent a long time coming up with appropriate questions, and I personally spent a lot of time and effort organising the survey so that it was properly branched. We have started to share the survey to a wider network of people to increase responses from parents in Oxfordshire.

Going forwards, I hope we are able to get some responses to that survey as I would be looking forward to data analysis and evaluation, which are elements of the work which I much prefer to literature review, which I find can become tedious staying sat just reading for a while.

The final write-up is also quite a scary deadline which is fast approaching - I am not the best at writing these final reports yet, but this opportunity will provide me with some good practice which is much needed!

Overall, I am really grateful for my team who have inspired me and made each day very enjoyable, and can't wait to keep moving forwards.

Albert, how wonderful to hear you have found a community of kind and compassionate peers! It is really wonderful to hear how much you have enjoyed the last two weeks! Adjusting research plans is certainly intimidating however, it is part of a process that will hopefully enable you to develop confidence  no matter what future projects throw at you! I am excited to hear more about your project as your team develops!
