Luke Sewell (He/Him)

South College JCR Communications Officer, South College

About Luke Sewell

My undergraduate studies have so far included the history of early modern Europe and Britain, power in modern Africa, the spatial and protest histories of the UK around the Napoleonic period, as well as the social history of England during the first half of the 20th century.

My interests include the history of colonial New England, the sinking of the Titanic and its contexts, as well as the development of postcolonial history. Outside of my studies, I'm also interested in the civil service, politics and classic film.

I have had experience in volunteering as a House Volunteer for the National Trust, a member of the Boys' Brigade, in my role as Communications Officer for my college's JCR, as well as in the administrative and hospitality sectors.
