Mid-point LIA blog
My time in Uganda working with the Kasiisi project as part of my Leadership in Action has been amazing. I've had the chance to get to know talented and interesting people from across the world, both including other scholars on the project, the team who make the Kasiisi project happen and other members of the community around Kibale National Park.
My team and I have been working hard on conservation education, and I've chosen to get involved with some other projects such as STI education and providing technological assistance. We've also had the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Uganda and immerse ourselves in the region's language and culture.
I've been keeping a more detailed journal of my experience, which I plan on sharing complete with photos up into a diary once I've finished my LIA. For now, here's a picture of Dale, who we met yesterday when visiting Kibale National Park yesterday:
