Hi, I'm Chhavi! Brought up in India and Malaysia, I am now a penultimate year Computer & Cognitive Science student studying in Hong Kong. I am passionate about the field of Computer-Human Interaction and have demonstrated experience in Augmented Reality and complex Data Visualization. When I'm not working, you can find me dancing, traveling or maybe just drinking masala chai!
Hi there :)) I'm Yauvani! I carried out my research project in summer 2023 at the University of York, where I worked on Apol2/Apol3 proteins in the inflammasome pathways. Feel free to drop me a chat anytime!
Hello :) I am a year 3 student in the University of Hong Kong, studying Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
Hi there! I am studying the Bachelor of Science in both Molecular Biology & Biotechnology and Food & Nutritional Science. Doing and learning from research are of interest to me for better understanding of the world and unprecedented benefits to humanity of all kinds. Feel free to exchange knowledge and ideas with me!
Hi guys:) I am currently studying Speech and Hearing Sciences at The University of Hong Kong.

I work in UCL Education and Student Affairs at UCL as a Project Manager. Our office has responsibility for improvements in education and the student experience, including the integration of teaching and research. I have managed high profile projects including a Graduate Support Scheme and a Review of Postgraduate Education. I currently manage the day to day administration of the Laidlaw Programme.
I am a science fan who gets her inspiration from stories. On my previous journeys volunteering and traveling around the world, I've met people who opened my mind to the greatest things and biggest issues of their communities. Sometimes those stories make me feel sad and worried, but many times, they inspire and urge me to imagine, innovate, and create changes using my own tools of science and technology.
Hi there! I'm Julian, an economics student at the University of Hong Kong and a new Laidlaw scholar. Originally, I planned to work on developmental economics, more specifically on the developmental opportunities and challenges of the Rwandan metal industry, but these plans have been canceled due to COVID-19. Thus, I have switched to working on research in international trade by trying to better understand regional value chain integration between China and members of ASEAN.
For the Laidlaw project, however, I work on a quantitative paper that aims at better understanding the constraints governing the internationalization of Chinese NGOs.
Apart from study, I like to discuss politics and philosophy, play ultimate frisbee, dance salsa, hike, cycle, and read fiction. Feel free to connect!
Currently, a student majoring in Financial Technology at HKU. Areas of interest include finance, economics, politics, and Web 3.
Hi, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Hong Kong. I have some research experiences in heritage imaging, genome engineering, nanoparticle drug carrier, and surgical augmented reality. And I am currently learning more about computational bio-molecule stimulation and screening model for further studies.
I'd love to communicate, share, and build wholeheartedly about the past, present, and future stories.
Hello, nice to meet you! I am Raina, an undergraduate student studying Applied Artificial Intelligence in the University of Hong Kong. My research topic is using artificial intelligence (AI) to turn a mobile smartphone into a stethoscope. What we want to do in this project is to build an AI-assisted mobile application on smartphones to perform cardiovascular disease early screening.
