With exams fast approaching for student, they find it difficuly to carve out time for extracurricula activities and so having spoken to the head teacher and students on their availabilities, they have carved out some time to unwind, relax and explore more creative channels.
My final day at the initial school was bitter sweet but I gave a short speech informing the students of the purpose of the time i spent with them. I didnt begin with this message because I wanted to keep the session light hearted but on the last day I let them know that I worked with young girls, rather than a mixed class, to give them a space and voice they can call their own. And sometimes parents and teachers says sexist things unintentionally since it is so strongly imbued in the culture but they have the right to speak up and call out these comments. It was a bit of a heavy farewell but I promised to hold online game sessions when their exams are done to lighten the mood.

Really amazing work - you're being a huge role model to young girls!
