As we reached the conclusion of the Tech Your Health program, Week 6 marked both an end and a celebration. This final week was dedicated to bringing all the students' hard work to fruition. The sense of anticipation and excitement was palpable as students completed their prototypes and prepared to present them to an audience of guests, including community members, educators, and industry professionals.

The journey to completing these prototypes was far from easy. Over the past six weeks, students grappled with the challenges of learning new technical skills, such as coding, 3D modeling, and understanding the intricacies of wearable health devices. But through perseverance, guidance, and a commitment to their projects, each student crossed the finish line.

This week, the focus was on refining and perfecting their prototypes. It was inspiring to witness how much they had grown—not just in their technical abilities, but in their confidence and problem-solving skills. The prototypes presented were more than just projects; they were symbols of the students’ resilience and adaptability.

On the final day, students presented their prototypes in a formal setting. For many, this was the first time they had presented a technical project to an audience. The atmosphere was filled with a mix of nervous energy and pride. Each student took the stage to explain their project, demonstrating not only their technical work but also the thought process and creativity behind their solutions.

The presentations were a culmination of everything we aimed to achieve through the TYH program. Students didn't just showcase functional prototypes; they demonstrated an understanding of how technology can intersect with health to address real-world issues. Their ability to communicate their ideas clearly and confidently to the audience was a highlight of the event.

The completion of the TYH program is just the beginning for these students. They now have a solid foundation in health technology and an understanding of how to approach complex problems. More importantly, they have experienced the satisfaction that comes from seeing a project through from conception to completion.

For us as instructors, this experience has been equally rewarding. It has reinforced the importance of adaptability, patience, and the power of encouragement. We’ve learned as much from our students as they have from us, and we look forward to seeing where their newfound skills and confidence will take them.

In conclusion, Week 6 was a fitting end to a transformative journey. The TYH program has not only equipped students with technical skills but has also inspired them to think critically about the intersection of health and technology. As they move forward, they carry with them the knowledge that they can be innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders in whatever paths they choose to pursue.
