Serve the City Paris is part of a global Anglophone volunteer movement. In Paris, the chapter focuses on food distribution for people experiencing homelessness and language exchanges in English and French for asylum seekers. Learn more at https://www.servethecity.paris/
Responsibilities & Ideal Background
Activities span daytime volunteering through a structured S.A.V.E internship with specialised workshops alongside regular charity work and CSR events. Experience with homeless or displaced populations is not required but helpful.
A good fit is someone interested in food systems/repurposing waste food, language exchanges, corporate events, or fundraising for essential supplies and services. Although the organisation is Anglophone, improving French can enhance the experience.

Hello! I'm an incoming third-year History student at the University of St Andrews. I'm from Madrid, Spain, but I moved to Scotland for university.
My research project focuses on the impact of the Cold War on sexuality and sexual expression among LGBTQ+ youth in Brazil and the relationship between sexuality and the state in a military dictatorship.
Hello, I am Maisie! I am a third-year Classics student at Oxford. I like to spend my time (when I don't have work due) cooking and baking cakes for my family or making collages out of old magazines. My current obsession is films by Pedro Almodóvar and Ethio-jazz.
Hi, I'm Holly! I'm really interested in Psychology, Linguistics, social action, and policy. In my free time, I love to dance, play guitar, learn languages, and travel.
I completed my Laidlaw research project last summer, on UK policy around extra-curricular activities. This summer, I completed my LiA in Mexico, designing a social media campaign for an NGO supporting survivors of gender-based violence.
Would love to chat more if you have any questions!
Human Sciences finalist at University of Oxford, with a particular interest in health promotion and creation.
Away from my studies, I am a keen triathlete, and love reading, tennis and cooking!
