Hello! I'm a junior and SPIRE Fellow at Duke studying Evolutionary Biology and Public Policy with a minor in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies. Exploring the intersection of STEM and the humanities, my academic and professional interests draw inspiration from the rich traditions of my Tamil-Muslim heritage and upbringing in New York's Hudson Valley. I'm focused on environmental stewardship in traditionally underrepresented communities and climate policies that better serve our most vulnerable constituents.
