Advancing White Shark Conservation in the Monterey Bay, CA through eDNA-based Population Monitoring and Community Education

This project aims to advance eDNA-based population monitoring of white sharks through the synthesis of species-specific primers, which amplify regions of the genome containing identifying information for individuals. We also aim to engage communities in white shark conservation awareness.
