Thank you so much for sharing this, it really means a lot to hear your perspective, especially given your own lived experience. I think it is so powerful to hear how returning to education helped you reconnect with your confidence, independence, and sense of identity. That’s exactly the kind of longer-term, holistic recovery journey that I think is often overlooked in conversations around gender-based violence. I can already see so many overlaps in the values and approaches behind our projects.
