Reading Against My Own Assumptions: A Laidlaw Research Summer
I began this summer expecting my research to confirm an idea I already had about autism diagnosis in women and girls. Instead, the project became as much about questioning that assumption as it was about finding an answer, and learning to follow the evidence somewhere unexpected.
