About Claire Morgan-Busher

I am studying Ancient History, Archaeology, and Latin. My research focuses on contextualising the past; we cannot think of history in terms of simple events, archaeological sites, and interesting finds, but rather, we must consider the lives of ancient people. That is what I aim to do, observing the enigma that traces of ancient lives have left us, while my research on one specific artefact highlights the aptness of the suggestion that "archaeology is anthropology in the past tense".
