These past 12 days I have been tying up loose ends on Asana and working on finalizing any outstanding work in terms of acquisition, boundary ingest and census ingest. Austria's census/boundary data confirmation will have to wait until the end of August as the staff member I've been corresponding with is on leave. Anguilla has followed up with me on the data request, saying they will send their new census data as soon as possible. For the Falkland Islands, given the fact that new boundary data according to the configuration of census data is not available, I think the next steps to create boundary data for GPWv5 would be to use gpwv4 boundary data and reconsolidate the polygons based on these 3/5-admin boundaries. I was also able to finish GNQ's data acquisition and census ingest.
I am excited to be able to work at CIESIN upon the arrival of the fall semester! I hope to pick up where I left off in working on more steps of the overall GPW project, specifically on Falkland Island's boundary data creation and any other SAs that need their acquisition work completed!
