This week I began the first part of my LiA at Jagriti Sewa Trust, India.

What went well: I got introduced to the kids in the NGO, some of whom were excited whereas others were very shy.

What could have been done differently: I could have started content for the public health lessons this week; I thought it would take me longer to get acclimated than it did.

What did I learn about myself when working with others: I really enjoy working with kids, especially in a capacity where I am teaching them something as critical as public health.

What did I learn about leadership: First impressions matter!

What do I want to focus on developing next: A relationship with the students, as well as my ability to teach important and difficult topics in a culturally sensitive manner.
