This week, we are featuring a quote from Adam Pearson, an actor and campaigner. Pearson is an Ambassador of the Prince's Trust, a philanthropic organisation set up by the recently crowned King Charles III of England.
Adam Pearson (1985-) is a British actor and campaigner. Pearson was injured at a young age which led to the development of an underlying genetical condition, neurofibromatosis type I. The resulting visible deformities on his head have made him the subject of bullying throughout his life. As an actor and campaigner, Pearson has worked to challenge the stigma around bodily disfigurement.
He spent most of his life in the entertainment industry, working for the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK. In 2013, he starred alongside Scarlett Johansson in the film Under the Skin. Pearson is an Ambassador for the Prince's Trust, a philanthropic organisation established by King Charles III when he was the Prince of Wales. The Trust helps those from disadvantaged communities and those facing greater adversity by supporting them to build their confidence and skills.
