This research report presents the work I carried out as part of my Laidlaw Scholars Research internship at the Laboratory of Protein Design and Immunoengineering (LPDI) at EPFL. The project aimed to contribute to the ongoing development of computational and experimental methods for redesigning integral membrane proteins into soluble mimetics, with Somatostatin Receptor 2 as the target. The report reflects both the scientific outcomes of the project and the learning process undertaken during my time at LPDI.
