My month in Fiji was a life-changing, vulnerable, emotional, and unforgettable one. Moving on from this, my life after Fiji will be to reflect upon my previously (deadset) chosen career path, towards one that aligns more with my current mentality. I realized that staying in academia is no longer serving the purpose that I set for myself, and even if I pursue further education, I hope to find future endeavors that will focus on action and practical impact.

I’m a 3rd Year Psychology and Neuroscience undergraduate from the University of Hong Kong, and my research interests surround neural substrates of cognitive experiences (like emotions, empathy) and psychopathology, as well as the neural basis for treatments. My ultimate goal is obtaining a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
