From Bench to Bedside: The Development & Evaluation of Orodispersible Films for Paediatric Drug Delivery
I explored the development of Orodispersible Films through laboratory research at the UCL School of Pharmacy and its evaluation as a child-friendly, palatable formulation at Great Ormond Street Hospital to manage the treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in paediatric oncology.
Overall, this project supports the continued development and clinical evaluation of ODFs as a means of improving medication adherence, comfort, and therapeutic outcomes in children undergoing chemotherapy and experiencing CINV.
