Help a fellow Laidlaw Scholar recruit participants: UK Women 18-25

Hi! I’m recruiting participants for my study, which explores UK women’s experiences around exercise. I would really appreciate support from the Laidlaw community, either by taking part if eligible or by sharing this opportunity with someone who might be interested. Very flexible on interview times!

I’m looking to speak with cisgender women aged 18–25 from (or who live in) the UK who:

  • Are currently not doing 30 minutes of moderate activity 5 times per week
  • Have not regularly exercised in the past 6 months
  • Are interested in sharing their personal experiences and views

Taking part involves one confidential online interview lasting at most 45 minutes. The discussion will be supportive and respectful, and there are no right or wrong answers. The interview will focus on topics such as exercise, body image, femininity, and personal experiences.

This research aims to improve understanding of women’s experiences and help shape better support around femininity and exercise. The study has ethical approval from the University of Leeds Faculty of Biological Sciences Ethics Committee, approval reference FBS FREC 2489.

If you’re eligible or know someone who might be, please scan the QR code on the flyer or click the link:
