Thank you for this post today @Hannah Watton these two quotes come close to summing it up for me:
All the Women Are White, All the Blacks Are Men, But Some of Us Are Brave (hull et al 1982)
There is a special place in hell for women who don't support other women. ~Madeleine Albright
It is rarely easy to go against the grain but being brave and supporting the marginalised even if you “made it” can go a long way. It doesn’t need to be a big gesture, the smallest act of genuine support for a Woman, particularly from a minority background, can make a big overall difference
I love that the journey was just as valuable as the final destination of this project. It reminds me that there is a learning opportunity at every step. Congratulations on a great project @Rachel O'Kelly
This is fascinating content, thankyou! I love that its a brake from the norm' and that you explore an interest held since high school. You have inspired me to rethink my research direction and also to watch the films mentioned.
I love this! I am so inspired by Linda words almost fail me… It’s taken me longer than most to get to college, but I feel that it was worth the wait to be learning at Trinity while Linda is Provost.
Yes, this is a “messy” time…. But where there is a mess there’s the opportunity to rearrange in a different and better way
There are so many points in this interview I could pick up on but to summarize - Although it can feel like we are living in dark times it brings light to my day to be here ( at Trinity ) now!
Thank you Susanna!
I will check out that speech for sure, and clear my diary on the 4th...

Very Exciting! It's such a buzz to be part of the Laidlaw experience, the new Libary adds yet another dimension...
