Alisa, it is so cool that you are analyzing Russian AI models as AI tools are becoming increasingly prominent in today’s world. I especially relate to how your cultural upbringing informs your research, and I’m glad you are pursuing something that is personally meaningful to you. As a fellow IR and Philosophy student, I also recognize the academic importance of your research, and I can’t wait to hear more about it in the research symposium.
The protection of a dying language is a notable and important job, and I am happy that you have found more academic resources relating to 'Ōlelo Hawai'i. And wow, the picture you uploaded is so beautiful - I will definitely visit this café near Pier 15 soon.
Wow Taylor - this sounds like an incredibly timely and well-rounded project. I love your interdisciplinary approach of combining both qualitative and quantitative methods and I’m especially excited by the idea of using ArcGIS to make your research publicly accessible.
Hi Yordani, I think it is great that you are doing the work to consciously avoid generalizing the immigrant experience as it is definitely true that experiences vary a lot between every individual, and this is also a sensitive topic in general. I also thought that it's super cool that you are interviewing the artist who wrote the play you're looking at - I am excited to see how that interview goes!
Getting started on reading existing literature for my research has also drastically changed my research angle! I'm so glad that you are pushing yourself to explore your topic even more deeply and personally. I am excited to see your photography project.
Leading from within sounds like a cool goal! Excited to see where your research will take you, Alisa!
