About Jesse Ng

My research looks at the affects and aesthetics of postcolonial Hong Kong art and literature, with an interest in decolonisation and critical cosmopolitanism. My PhD, in particular, examines the popular cultural and western canonical references many Hong Kong cultural forms carry.
