Hello! My name is Daniel Nguyen, but I go by Dan. I am a student at Tufts University studying biology and community health. My research project is on schistosomiasis, a neglected tropical disease that originates from parasitic worms in contaminated water. The project seeks to understand how the parasitic worms, called schistosomes, uptake riboflavin to survive in human hosts. In my free time, I like to dance, go to the gym to lift or swim, and try new restaurants!
