My photo is more of a collage that represents my research process. Pictured above is the main research paper that my work evolves around, a notebook where I describe the newspaper clippings that I make, and two newspaper clippings. My process starts with the newspaper clippings, which I find online, and screenshot for later reference. During this process, I use my notebook to record any relevant details from the clippings. Then, I consult our research paper to see if my findings support our theory or if they are contradictory. Finally, I write a full summary of the topic I am researching, this could be a specific political group, election cycle, candidate, or law. It took me a while to refine this routine, but now it’s like second nature. In this project, I have had the unique opportunity to learn about the history of reproductive rights and gain new research skills!
