My days are very different. Some days I’m completely online, working on research and emails. Others, I get to be in-person or use virtual meetings!

My work has definitely narrowed since I started in this role. Much of my research has focused on the logistics of implementing our curriculum. This includes researching competing course offerings, hosting platforms, and providing feedback on external media for potential partners.

I have attached a photo of my boss's office, or rather the view from her office. Our work is largely centered around the New York and Harlem community, so it feels fitting that the view overlooks the scenic Hudson and Riverside Park. These are also hallmarks of Columbia University's campus, a fitting neighbor for our organization that seeks to connect formerly incarcerated women with educational opportunities at Columbia and universities like it.
