Unbelievably too soon, this has been my last week. I am very grateful for the experiences I have gained here at LFG. I had my exit interview with Daniel. At the beginning of the week I began finalizing my deliverables and reflections in LFG.

My colleagues organized a farewell lunch for me which was incredible. On my last day I applied knowledge acquired from the conference to a training session which was possible with Davis and Albert. I led a final training session on gender equity with the gender coordinators from the schools LFG is partnered with which in hindsight is in true fashion style! I got feedback on how to improve on delivery and my areas of strength. I learnt so much from the coordinators and gender coordinators on the call. 

It has been a bittersweet experience and my time here has been nothing short of transformative. I have grown professionally and in character in the short span of six weeks. I am grateful to everyone on the LFA Collective team who I encountered and who stopped to have a conversation and guidance with me, including Albert and Davis. Most especially, I am extremely grateful to Richie, Lolo, Nana Kwame and Auntie Ju. I can’t imagine my LiA experience without their guidance and friendship. In the past six weeks, I have experienced immense joy, love, care and professional growth that has exceeded my expectations. Through LFG I have had the opportunity to understand problems in education in Ghana and developing systems that attempt to bridge the gap. Working with Lead for Ghana was the right choice and I will carry all of the lessons I have learnt beyond the organization.
