Week 2 - make_sense Leadership-in-Action: Mexico
Week 2 of my LiA has proceeded with planning our roadmap for the weeks ahead and confirming what our final week deliverables will be.
Week 2 has had the focus of the cohort preparing prototype solutions for our challenges and constructing a project plan.
We've had meetings with our main contact at Rennueva to gain a fuller understanding of how to achieve our goals. Additionally, we have started researching the carbon footprint of plastic processing in order to better understand Rennuevas processes.
Finally we have held our first meeting with the volunteers that we will be working with over the next few week and gaining a grasp on how we can contribute to Rennuevas needs.
Additionally, we took a trip to visit one of the other organisations the scholars have been working with Las Sabinas, which was a enlightening look into the ways they are tackling gender violence in Mexico.
