My research project revolves around Performance-Based Assessments (PBAs). Have you come across these assessment methods before? Essentially,they represent a new and innovative approach that has the potential to replace traditional high school exit exams such as the Regents exam. During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to visit a New York international high school that had begun implementing PBAs as part of their high school graduation requirements, eliminating the need for high-stakes exams. I'd like to share some pictures of the campus with you. Can you spot any aspects of the environment that surprised or intrigued you?
