Angel Wu, a Laidlaw Scholar at the University of Hong Kong, on the Socio-Political Effects of the Oslo Accords.
This week, we’re shining a spotlight on Angel Wu, a Laidlaw Scholar and undergraduate law student at the University of Hong Kong. Angel’s research focuses on “The Oslo Accords,” examining the legal and institutional framework established by the agreements between the Palestinian Liberation Organisation and Israel during the 1990s. Motivated by her volunteer work in a Palestinian refugee camp, Angel delves into how compliance and non-compliance with the accords have shaped socio-political conditions in Palestine. In a conversation with Princess Agina, the Community and Project Management Executive at the Laidlaw Foundation, Angel offers her perspectives on the historical and ongoing significance of her research.
