On Wednesday, 5 November, we were delighted to host our first in-person Laidlaw Scholar gathering, a welcome lunch held at Treadwell Restaurant in Oxford.

This special occasion brought together our current scholars and members of the wider Laidlaw community at Saïd Business School for an afternoon of connection and conversation.
The lunch offered a chance to reflect on the scholars’ journeys so far, from the moment they found out they had received the scholarship to the excitement of arriving at Oxford. It was a joy to hear their stories, learn how they are settling into the MBA programme, and discuss their ambitions for the year ahead.
Recipients of the Laidlaw Scholarships are extraordinary women who come from a range of backgrounds but share a passion for gender equality. Our scholar profiles provide a taster of the work they have undertaken and their plans for the future.
