How Perception of Calculation Affects Math Performance and Effort

For my project, I worked under Professor Ian Lyons in the Math Brain Lab in Georgetown's Department of Psychology. My project focused on how people's perception of the amount of calculation a problem involves affects their math performance and the number of effort they put into the problems.
